Media keeps yelling that the vax is "safe," but what does that really mean?

Most of you have heard--constantly, endlessly, from the Mainstream Media--that the vaccines are, like, totally safe.  This is supposedly "proven" by the low percentage of people who've died or had an "adverse reaction" to the jab.

While it's true that the percentage is low, it's between 20 and 50 times higher than previous vaccines, depending on which figures you want to use.  In prior years, vax programs have been halted after as few as a dozen deaths.  But not this time.  In fact, quite the opposite:  The biden*harris regime is moving closer to making the shot mandatory if you want to fly or attend "events."

Why this huge difference, for a virus that has a survival rate of over 99.8% for those with no "co-morbidities"?  Seems like they're seeing who will submit to a crazy order.  Not a good look for any government, least of all for a government of a supposedly free people.
