To block Texas from passing a bill to cut election fraud, Dem lawmakers simply walk out of the chamber

Republican lawmakers in Texas, like those of several other states, were outraged by the massive amount of election fraud last November, and responded by introducing a bill that would make it harder to commit such fraud.

Among the reforms in the bill were requiring photo ID to vote, tightening the rules for absentee ballots, and not allowing ballots arriving after election day to be counted.  All seemingly totally reasonable and not burdensome to honest voters.

But of course Democrats in the legislature had denounced the bill as unfair, "voter suppression" and so on.  But since Dems don't have a majority, how could they block the bill from passing?

Easy:  Democrat lawmakers simply walked out of the chamber, forcing the session to adjourn for lack of a quorum.

Was the media outraged at this anti-democratic tactic?  Nah, the Lying Mainstream Media was practically dancing with glee at the cleverness.  In an astonishing bit of inflammatory lying, the leftist Dallas Morning News described the bill as "making it easier to overturn elections."

Now: Imagine if Republicans did the exact same thing to prevent Dems from passing some bill.

After watching this move, does any rational person really think the Democrats will allow states to pass any effective measures to prevent election fraud?

Just FYI, here's an example of the kind of anti-election-fraud measures the Dems walked out to prevent from being passed into law:

Every person who assists a voter in [filling out or handling a ballot for that voter] is required to complete a form stating:
    (1)  the name and address of the person providing the assistance;
    (2)  the type of assistance being provided;
    (3)  the reason the assistance is necessary; and
    (4)  the relationship between the person providing assistance and the voter.

 The form must accompany the ballot if the voter is voting early, or must be
submitted with the ballot if the voter is voting in person;
