Biden steals a joke from the great Ronald Reagan at Coast Guard commencement, muffs it, is miffed that no one laughs

For most of his political career, Xao Bi-den has been known for stealing lines from other politicians' speeches.  And not surprisingly he's at it again, this time at a commencement speech at the Coast Guard Academy.

He stole a joke from a speech given by an infinitely better man, at the same place on the same occasion.  The original was spoken by Ronald Reagan in 1988, and it's a play on the rivalry between the Coasties and the regular Navy:

“My Coast Guard aides have been excellent. One of them taught me that, quote ‘The Coast Guard is that hard nucleus about which the Navy forms in time of war,'” Reagan told the cadets, who responded with wild cheers."  VP Dick Cheney used the same line on the same occasion in 2008.

The problem wasn't just that Biden didn't acknowledge Reagan, but also that Biden muffed the joke, saying

“I can only assume you'll enjoy educating your family about how the Coast Guard is, quote, the hard nucleus around the Navy formed in times of war,”

instead of the amusing version, "...that hard nucleus about which the Navy forms in time of war."

When Biden’s fumble drew silence instead of the expected cheers, he broke through the lull with one of his famous unscripted verbal punches.

“You’re a really dull class,” Biden remarked with some exasperation. “I mean, come on, man! Is the sun gettin’ to ya?  I would think you’d have an opportunity when I say that about the Navy to clap.”

The pic below is a screenshot.  Here's the link to the video of both presidents.  The side-by-side comparison shows what an absolute, tone-deaf moron Biden is compared to the great Ronald Reagan.

Our nation has fallen hard, thanks to the Democrats stealing the election from the real winner.  We're being ruled by morons.
