Left demands drug not be use until double-blind trials are done; but who would be the placebo group?

Democrat leaders have screamed that the miracle cure, hydroxychloroquine (plus Z-pack plus zinc sulphate) MUST NOT BE APPROVED until it's been proven in a large-scale double-blind test.

Of course every college graduate should know that a "double-blind test" requires that half the subjects must be given a placebo instead of the real drug, to prove that any benefit is NOT due to the well-known "placebo effect."  But would anyone volunteer to get a dummy pill instead of getting the real thing from their own doc?

Hahahahahahaha!  Oh wait, all the elites would do that, cuz they're all in on real science, right?

Hahahahahahaha!  Yeah, right.  So here's an great idea:  All the folks who absolutely demand that HCQ not be approved until large clinical trial are complete--that is, all the anti-Trump Democrats--will be given the placebo.  You leftist/socialist/Trump-haters down with that?

We can't use this drug, because some people will have the potential of reacting negatively or not at all.   We can't just go randomly giving people a product that hasn't been fully vetted for an illness that is novel to us.  People come in all shapes and sizes and with different conditions.  Some people will see a benefit, some will not.  Or most will not. We don't know.  At this point hydroxychloroquine is snake oil.  It must be tested against a placebo.

I'd love to ask him if he'd refuse to let a family member use the drug if they got the virus.

These people are making outrageously false statements to advance their agenda.  Which is...win in November.
