A tale of two epidemics: 2009 vs 2020

In 2009-2010 a strain of flu called H1N1--the "swine flu"--killed an estimated 12,000 Americans.

Obama didn't take a single action until the new strain had killed 1,700 Americans.

CNN and MSNBC didn't say a critical word. 

But hey, that was then!  Today things are...different...in some subtle but clearly very important way.  Just can't quite put my finger on it.
