Opinion piece in NY Times claims the REAL outrage in Tessa Majors' murder isn't her murder but...

Last month an 18-year-old girl--a freshman at a pricey NYC college--was stabbed to death in a park across the street from her college.

Shortly afterwards a 13-year-old male told cops he and two others--ages 14 and 13--had decided to rob someone in the park that night.  They considered robbing a male but thought better of it.  Then the girl appeared.  She resisted being robbed, so one of the trio stabbed her numerous times.

Because the killers weren't white, the liberals who run the New York Times immediately began claiming that the REAL cause of this tragic "robbery gone wrong" was oppression, slavery, raaaacism, income inequality and Trump.  Now the Times has doubled down, printing an "opinion piece" from a goofy professor at Barnard, Jennifer Boylan, who regularly writes for the rag.  She claims the victim--Tessa Majors--was one of her students.

Boylan, who bills herself as "queer" and having been brutally oppressed and beaten, says she got a hateful voice message from someone outraged about the murder.  Of course she says she immediately deleted it, instead of going to the cops, because...reasons.

She then graces us with 2000 words of her opinion--not about the murder, but about "what the right response to hate should be."  Because in Boylan's view the outrage here is NOT that 3 black teens fatally stabbed a girl in a "robbery gone wrong."  Oh no, citizen.  The REAL outrage is the awful voicemail left on Ms. Boylan's phone.

All of the above is background.  I'm posting this to encourage you to click on this link and read the comments by Times readers.  

Almost without exception the commenters totally sympathize with the alleged killers.  In the commenters' view the trio are NOT killers but are merely unfortunate young "boys."  Also, the commenters push the idea that the three almost certainly did NOT kill the girl.  Instead commenters claim raaacist cops grabbed the three because the cops are raaacists.

Commenters also claim the confession by one of the trio isn't valid.  No reason is offered, but one can see how the public is being prepared for one of the defense's certain motions.
