Obama lackey claims Trump's Iran policy is awful--while Obama's "nuclear deal" was great
If you're an American who spends most of your waking hours working or raising kids, you probably didn't have time to follow the putrid acts of Obama and his lackeys. Some of the known, public acts were so astonishingly anti-American as to be hard to believe. But they're on the public record.
For example, the day Obama was inaugurated he created an entirely new government post: Deputy National Security Advisor for Strategic Communications. To fill this crucial new post he named a former speechwriter, 32-year-old Ben Rhodes.
Rhodes had no experience in national security whatsoever. But he had one key qualification that Obama recognized as far more important for this new position (which again, Obama had just created):
I know you'll be shocked to learn that the Lying Mainstream Media fawned over Ben. Slobbering stories in New York Magazine described him as "sharing president Obama's mind."
Rhodes would later be the subject of a very long piece in that mag, in which he sneered that most "journalists" knew nothing about history and thus were easy to manipulate. He boasted that he had used the media to create an "echo chamber" of these dummies who would submit stories to their publications uncritically praising any and every Obama statement and policy. Rhodes quote:
Among the many policies Rhodes used his "echo chamber" to support was Obama's dumb "Iran nuclear deal," under which the U.S. would end economic sanctions against the Iranian regime and pay Iran $150 billion. In exchange the mullahs promised not to develop nuclear weapons for ten years.
The Obama administration refused to tell Americans all the terms of his faaabulous deal so we're not sure whether this next term was written or just rammed through by Obama, but in any case the Obama administration gave the mullahs another billion or so in cash (in dollars and Euros).
Critics pointed out that this supposedly-great agreement didn't allow the U.S. to verify any aspect. The only joke-verification allowed was by the International Atomic Energy Agency, but even that body could only inspect after giving the Iranians a month's notice--which would be more than enough time to move any evidence of weapons development.
Needless to say, Rhodes hates everything Trump has done to recover from Obama's disastrous "nuclear deal." Recently Rhodes tweeted,
But hey, the mainstream media has ensured that their history will say Obama's policies and "deals" were great, regardless of the results.

His brother, David Rhodes, was president of CBS News.

Trump's sanctions on Iran have done nothing to change Iranian behavior except make it worse. This is what happens when your foreign policy is based on Obama envy, domestic politics, Saudi interests, and magical right wing thinking.
It's hard to overstate what a total failure Trump's Iran policy has been. Nuclear program resumed. Regional provocations escalated. US isolated.A GOP congressman, Lee Zeldin, then did a comparison:
- A billion dollars in cash.
- Ransom payments.
- Trading five terrorist leaders for one U.S. deserter
- Paying $150 billion freed tens of billions to finance terrorism.
- Financing Assad in Syria & Hezbollah in Lebanon.
- Helping the Houthis overthrow the govt in Yemen.
- All those resulted from the "brilliat deal" you helped your boss sell to Amricans
But hey, the mainstream media has ensured that their history will say Obama's policies and "deals" were great, regardless of the results.
