Obama backs Morsi; 48 hours later Obie and aides claim "We did NOT take sides!"-- MSM nods agreeably
I think I must be drinking too much. It's the only thing I can think of that would explain why I have this overwhelmingly realistic memory that just a couple of days ago Obamo warned the Egyptian military not to intervene in the huge demonstrations against Morsi.
Oh, and he also called Morsi and expressed his support and encouraged the guy to hang in there. At least that's what our Lyin' Media reported that they were told by their lovers in the White House.
But today--just six hours after the military arrested Morsi and set up an interim government, every single Lyin' Media talking head and editor is swearing that Obozo *never took sides* in the conflict.
See, since I recall the exact opposite, I must be dreaming. After all, it's hard to believe the media would lie so utterly shamelessly.
Oh, I know: You think I'm just makin' that shit up about not taking sides. Okay, here's that bastion of Obozo supporters at The Hill:
Uh...bullshit. Bull. Shit.
One can only conclude that these people think all of you are utter idiots, if they think you can't remember back a lousy two days. That, friends, is contempt.
Oh, and just in case you didn't buy the "We're not taking sides. We never took sides." bullshit, the Hill and others added this little slap:

In his first statement since the Egyptian army and the opposition overthrew President Mohamed Morsi and his Muslim Brotherhood government, Obama repeated that the United States was not taking sides in the dispute and avoided using the word “coup.” He called on the military to quickly restore power to a “democratically elected civilian government.”
“The United States is monitoring the very fluid situation in Egypt, and we believe that ultimately the future of Egypt can only be determined by the Egyptian people,” Obama said in a statement. “Nevertheless, we are deeply concerned by the decision of the Egyptian Armed Forces to remove President Morsy and suspend the Egyptian constitution.
“I now call on the Egyptian military to move quickly and responsibly to return full authority back to a democratically elected civilian government as soon as possible through an inclusive and transparent process...And state department spokesbozo Jen Psaki echoed this: "We are NOT taking sides."
Uh...bullshit. Bull. Shit.

Given today’s developments, I have also directed the relevant departments and agencies to review the implications under U.S. law for our assistance to the Government of Egypt. --King Barry
