Today's reporters are notorious for being politically correct: There are certain terms and phrases that, even though accurate, simply can't used in reporting stories.

Though most farm workers are here legally, the Pew Hispanic Center estimates that about a quarter of them are ______.The most logical phrase to complete the sentence is "here illegally." But the actual report used "undocumented"--a euphemism that avoids the implied criticism of "illegally."
