So let's see how the leftist, Democrat-fellating cesspool of lies CBS "reports" the story of a man in the leftist-run shithole of Madison, Wisconsin, with 40 previous arrests, armed with a big knife, who stabbed an officer after he was stopped by cops for stealing:

A police officer in Madison shot and killed a man who had injured him with a knife while resisting arrest, the city's police chief said Wednesday.

Ahh, "injured him with a knife," says CBS. Like, maybe, dropped it on the officer's foot? Actually the perp stabbed the officer. But reporting that wouldn't help The Narrative, which for CBS is that cops are bad, minorities are never at fault for anything.

Police didn't identify the man who was killed, but mayor Satya Rhodes-Conway...identified him as Corey Ruiz.

Satya is a leftist lesbian, and sets the agenda for everything that leftist city does. Like all leftist women, she embraces "suicidal empathy."

Police said officers were responding to calls that someone was stealing bicycles. Responding officers said the man fled on a bicycle.

Officers encountered him again and the man "either fell or was pulled off the bicycle," and "a struggle ensued." between the man and officers in the intersection.

During the struggle, the man pulled out a big knife and stabbed one officer. Another officer then tried unsuccessfully to use a Taser. After the officer who'd been stabbed (or "injured by the knife," as CBS puts it) saw the taser didn't work, the "injured officer" (CBS still refuses to say "stabbed") shot the perp.

Lesbian mayor Rhodes-Conway said she planned to hold a "community listening session" soon, adding that she was "angered" by the shooting. Not by the stabbing, but by the fact that the officer who was "injured by the knife" (NOT "stabbed by the perp") shot the bastard.

The dead man's family has hired attorney Ben Crump--because money.

But CBS's anti-cop Narrative isn't finished yet:

In 2015 [eleven damn years ago, but CBS feels it's totally relevant to the story, eh?] a White police officer shot and killed Tony Robinson, who was biracial, a shooting that spurred large protests.

Note CBS has no problem at all using the word "shot," but refuses to say "stabbed." Cuz...Narrative.

The district attorney determined the officer was justified, but the wokie Democrat pols run Madison gave Robinson's family $3.35 million rather than risk a trial. Dat cuz Dems in Madison eagerly embrace the notion of white guilt. Liberal Democrats are absolutely sure minorities never stab or rob or rape. Nope nope nope.

So here's how CBS wraps up this story of police shooting a po' black man who was only armed wif a small knife:

"Another Black man is dead on a Madison street, and our community watched him die before we even knew his name," said Brandi Grayson, the head of a Black community advocacy group. "That is the cruelty of state violence."

Ahh, so Brandi wails about "violence" when a cop shoots a perp who just stabbed him, after seeing that the attempt to disarm him with a taser didn't work. But the only violence CBS wants to headline is the cop preventing the perp from stabbing him again.

Next story you can expect from Madison, which you'll never hear about in the Mainstream Media: "Mayor orders cops not to respond to calls of people stealing." "Appropriating* the property of white supremacists is a totally reasonable form of reparations for past oppression. So to ensure the safety of everyone, I have ordered our officers not to respond to any calls about property theft by disadvantaged, oppressed members of our city's non-white community.
Property can be easily replaced, but precious lives can't. We must all support reparations."
