Oregon. You don't wanna know

Guess what all the people in this pic have in common.

 

The clue is the small green logo barely visible in the bottom-right corner of each pic: they're leftists in Oregon, busted for meth.  They're smiling because they couldn't care less--the Democrat rulers of that beautiful shithole always release them with no charge, cuz...Dems iz compassionate, comrade!  

For those of you who don't keep up with events outside your reach: five years ago the Dems who totally rule Oregon took the policy of the Democrat Partei [sic] to its logical conclusion and legalized ALL addictive drugs.  "Cuz why should duh gummint have any concern about whut yew put in your own body to get off, eh?"

Easy answer: addiction makes addicts steal and kill to get money to buy more of the drug they demand.  And it doesn't bother 'em a bit that someone else suffers for their pleasure.  Got it? 

Pushers of the faaabulous law bleated dat dis wud make everything bettah!  Crime would drop, cuz...um...reasons.  An' wif all duh money duh state wud save by NOT prosecuting druggies or paying to put 'em in jail for a few months, duh state cud pay fo' drug counseling and "treatment," eh?

And like magic, hundreds of "drug counseling and treatment centers" were instantly created and accredited by the state.  To the surprise of no one, every one of these centers were run by leftists, many of whom were relatives of state lawmakers.  Cuz dems iz, like, reeeeally compassionate, eh?

Getting paid $100 per client per day had nuffin' to do wif it.

So how many druggies sought "treatment" at the taxpayer-funded facilities?

A few dozen.  And did crime by drug addicts drop?

Hahahahahaha!  It got worse.  Lots worse.  So after 18 months even the stupid Democrats who rule Oregon (and continue to rule it to this day) gave up, and repealed the law legalizing all addictive drugs.  Oh wait...they didn't.  Instead they let citizens vote on it, in a "referendum."  Cuz dat way duh Dems couldn't be accused of being anti-drug!  They'd simply accept the "will of duh pipo," eh?

So...can we learn anything from this?  (If you're a Dem in Minnesota you may need to consult a Somali "Learing Center" [sic] to grasp it.)

The answer is No:  Oregon is still ruled by "smaht but moronic" Democrats--and always will be, because the leftist druggies of Portland far outnumber the conservative rural citizens.

And here, finally, rational people see the fatal weakness of "democracy:"  The drug-addled morons, and their left/liberal enablers, will always vote Democrat, so the Dems will continue to rule Oregon.
