Under bribem and Obozo the U.S. started ignoring the rules for a civiized society

Under the last two Democrat presidents the U.S. trashed the hard-won pillars of civilization—by choice—in a steady descent into chaos.

From late January of 2021 to Jan 2025 the pace of that descent was unprecedented.  It seems to have been an intentional effort by bribem and the Democrat party to destroy the U.S. by erasing its borders

One telltale is that as the bribem regime brazenly ignored immigration law, it allowed illegal aliens to violate laws and rules that U.S. citizens had to obey.  For example, you weren't allowed to board a commercial airliner without photo ID, but the regime allowed illegal aliens to fly without any ID or vetting at all--at taxpayer expense.

The regime demanded you take an experimental, ineffective "vaccine" or be fired, and that your kids take the same "vaccine" to attend school.  Over 8,500 active-duty American soldiers were forced out of the military for refusing to take the experimental mRNA vaccine.  Yet the bribem regime allowed illegal aliens and their children to stay in the U.S. without taking the vax.  That's how much the Dems wanted illegals to come into the U.S.

In bribem's four-year reign over 10 million illegals simply walked into the U.S. across Mexican border.  The bribem regime had no idea who they really were or if they had criminal records in their home nations, but didn't care.

If you doubt that many illegals invented new identities, look at the photos of mounds of discarded passports and ID papers on the Mexican side of the border.  Once they were here, they could claim to be anyone other than who they really were.

Any American citizen pulled over for speeding with an expired driver’s license, while trafficking eight illegal aliens without identification, would be jailed and charged.  But when Tennessee state troopers pulled over previously-deported illegal Kilmar Abrego Garcia for speeding--and found he was apparently smuggling 7 illegal aliens-- bribem's FBI ordered that he not be arrested.  He wasn't even cited by the officers who pulled him over.

Why did bribem's FBI order Tennessee state troopers not to arrest the illegal?  That alone should have been a huge red flag--but you never heard about it until a couple of years later.  Something was clearly going on there for the FBI to order Abrego Garcia to be released without so much as a ticket.

One of things that enabled the Roman Empire to last so long was the brilliance of its planners to realize the importance of providing clean water, removing waste through sewers and collecting garbage.  They spent huge amounts building aquaducts to bring clean water 80 miles from mountains to Rome--by gravity.

So even 2500 years ago, smart planners knew filth led to epidemics, eh?

We've known that for 25 centuries, but in the last few years mayors and city councils in big Dem-ruled cities have allowed tens of thousands of homeless people to urinate, defecate, and inject on sidewalks and in parks.  The stench has utterly transformed American inner cities.  Central Seattle, Los Angeles, parts of San Francisco, Portland, and Washington, DC, now resemble medieval cities.

In truth, mayors of big Dem-ruled cities have quietly allowed public-health laws to be brazenly ignored.  The old lessons of civilized societies--learned at great cost--are no longer enforced in many U.S. cities.  If you haven't been to San Francisco or Seattle or Portland or LA recently, you can't believe it.

Another hallmark of Western civilization was the creation of a system of "laws" that supposedly applied to everyone equally.  Absent such laws, enforced by the state, brute force ruled.

But in the U.S. today the law no longer applies equally to all.  Instead today we clearly have two sets of laws, in which crimes by one group are punished, while the same crime by a favored group is smirkingly ignored.

The American legal system has become a joke:  Burn or key a Tesla in a blue state and the perp often walks away with no fine or jail time.  By contrast, NY attorney-general Letitia James commits multiple mortgage fraud but will almost certainly skate with no prosecution worthy of the name.

Perps who torched a federal courthouse in Portland or a police precinct HQ in Minneapolis weren't prosecuted.  But if you peacefully walked thru the Capitol on Jan 6th you were jailed for two years without trial--or even being allowed to post bail.  (Violates the Constitution.)

Most Americans never heard about that, because the Lying Mainstream Media said almost nothing true about it.

It's clear that Democrats have lost the plan on how civilization works.  Need more evidence?  How about influential medical organizations like the American Pediatric Association claiming it's good to perform surgery to turn biological men into faux-women?  And then Democrats demanding that these biological males be allowed to compete against real women in sports?

In California, citizens approved a billion-dollar ballot initiative to build new dams and reservoirs.  Instead--predictably--the "woke," moronic governor ordered some of those funds used to blow up four small dams--the brilliant work of a rational earlier generation, now long forgotten.

Rational adults know that dead brush is an invitation for fires.  But the Democrat-run government of L.A. halted preventive brush clearing, because they didn't want to spend the money.  The result was billions of dollars of fire losses in January.

Stupid.  Irrational.  Like children playing with fire.  And yet this is what passes for "leadership" by "woke" Democrats who rule our big cities, and sometimes the entire nation.

The question is, why has America junked the policies needed to remain a modern civil society?
 
In part it's because for almost 40 years our ghastly K-12 schools--both public and private--have been dominated by leftists who have stopped teaching real history and civics.  Most kids have been taught that the U.S. is not just evil and raaacist, but always has been.

Because college-age Americans know nothing about history, they cannot know what it takes to make and maintain a civilized nation.  Instead young Americans blithely consume what they inherited from earlier generations.

Earlier generations called that "eating the seed corn."  (If you know nothing about farming, look it up.)

Democrats, Hollywood and the "elites" have taught young Americans that the best policy is "if it feels good, do it!  Fun, certainly, but does that sound like a successful way to run a country?
