National education test results fall by the largest amount ever; Mainstream Media ignores it
Three days ago the federal Department of "Education" released the results of the standard annual tests for 13-year-olds. The biden regime timed the announcement to distract Americans from...something something. You can't recall. Mission accomplished, eh?
Turns out math and reading scores among 13-year-olds in the U.S. have fallen to their lowest levels in decades, with math scores plunging by the largest margin *ever*.
More than two years after most students returned to in-person learning, a federal commissioner for such things intoned "there are still worrisome signs about student achievement.”
Really? Gosh, we warned ya, but y'all were too smart to pay attention, eh? Especially the head of the CDC, the brilliant, utterly corrupt Rochelle Walensky.
Scores on the math exam, which has been administered every year since 1973, are at their lowest levels since 1990. Reading scores are their lowest since 2004.
The drop in scores was twice as large for the lowest-performing students. But don't worry, citizen: the rulers assure you that this has nothing whatsoever to do with the constant violence and disruption in minority schools. That's just crazy talk, citizen.
Oh wait...that was the writeup by Al Jazeera, so it was probably just propaganda or somethin'. So here's the Democrat-slobbering Axios:
Test scores of American students in math and reading got significantly worse last year. The drop in math scores was the biggest in the past 50 years.
Scores on U.S. history among middle schoolers fell to the lowest levels ever recorded since the assessment began in 1994.
The findings come from a continuous, nation-wide test of 13-year-olds, released by a branch of the faaabulously effective federal Department of Education. About 8,700 students took the tests at about 460 schools across the country.
Scores declined among all racial and ethnic groups, and among both male and female students, and across urban, suburban and rural areas. But students did know the words to every song by Taylor Swift ("Tay-tay," apparently) and Cardi B, and six ways to have gay sex.
So don't worry, citizen. Dis mean nuffin'. Really. The federal "commissioner for assessment" for deez t'ings say "Post-pandemic academic recovery...holistically...prolly students' mental health...need mo' die-versity and trannies...ayup yup yup."
NY Times and WaPo reporters nodded solemnly and checked their smartphones.
Okay, what do the faaabulous, biden-fellating flagship liberal papers say about this, eh? Do a search. As of today (3 days after the event) not one mainstream liberal paper had published a single word about this.
Gee, how odd. Wonder why they didn't mention it? Ya think they mentioned even a small drop when Trump was prez?
