Dem governor of New Mexico threatens to fire a town's school board unless they obey her mask orders

The governor of New Mexico is a female Democrat from a politically powerful family.  So she's accustomed to issuing orders and having her subjects promptly obey.  In other words, she's like every Democrat politician.

Recently the state's "Public Education Division" decreed that kids who hadn't taken the jab had to wear masks to school.  Since most young students haven't been vaxxed, a few thousand parents wondered how schools would tell who would get to go maskless (i.e. able to breathe normally).  Images of the Gestapo demanding a citizen's identity papers.

The state educrats responded with the classic bullshit below.  It begins with "No one has to share their vaccination status..."  But then the instant hook: "...but those who want to go mask-free...must [show] an immunization card."

Wait...you just said "No one has to share their status," but literally in the same sentence "...must [show] an immunization card."  WTF ?!!  The educrats apparently believe no one is smart enough to realize the second half of the sentence contradicts the opening.

 

Oh wait, I see:  It's like the biden*fail regime "urging" all employers to require employees to get the jab if they want to keep their jobs, but then piously claiming "We have NOT ordered all Americans to get the vax."  No, just the ones who want to keep their jobs.

Next is "We have NOT ordered all Americans to get the vax, but those who haven't won't be allowed to board an airplane."  Democrat dictator Cuomo has already "urged" that every restaurant and indoor venue demand proof of vax from everyone wishing to enter.

CNN communist Don Lemon has bleated that unvaxxed people shouldn't be allowed to shop for groceries.  Literally, he said that, on the air.  And no one batted an eye.

So back to the Dem governor:  The school board of the tiny town of Floyd, NM, recognizing that young people rarely get the Chinese virus, voted to let students go maskless regardless.  The female gov responded with shrieks and threats to remove the entire school board unless they "rescinded" their vote and promised to follow her orders by noon today.

The Floyd Municipal School Board had voted against mask mandates, social distancing regulations and body temperature checks.  The very next day the board got a letter from the state Public Education Department threatening to remove every member from their position unless they “rescinded” their original vote in a public meeting.

The letter also threatened to cancel the state license of any member who had a job requiring a state license and didn't immediately obey:

“A failure by the board to provide written confirmation of a vote rescinding the offending course of action and/or adopting a course of action that conforms to the published health and safety requirements by noon on Tuesday... could result in adverse licensure actions against licensed individuals, suspension of school board governance, and other applicable enforcement actions.”

I haven't read the New Mexico constitution but I'm pretty sure it doesn't give the governor the power to fire members of local school boards.  And yet the Dem governor thinks she has that power.

Hope the school board tells her to fuck off, but I doubt they will.  If they did, the Dem dictator would order her state lackeys to cut any state money to that town.  Most board members know she'd do that, so would obey.

Of course if a Republican governor did something like this, the school board would quickly ask a Dem judge to order that no funds be cut--exactly as happened when Trump tried to cut funds to Dem-ruled cities whose rulers had ordered their cops not to cooperate with ICE in turning over illegal-alien killers for deportation.  Funny how judges always rule for one party, eh?
