Is Biden's VP pick "African-American"? Not at all, but Dems hope her color may be enough
Think Kamala Harris is "African-American"? Nope. But virtually every low-info voter does think that, simply because she claims to be "black."
The Mainstream Media is cleverly avoiding calling any attention to the fact that she's NOT A-A. For example, the NY Times front page today, right-hand column, simply says shes a "Woman of color."
And according to the memo sent to all news agencies by a dozen top Democrat strategists, they demand that the media NOT run any stories about her actual background.
Gosh, why would the Dem strategists demand that?
Because Harris--whose dad is from Jamaica and mother is from India--isn't African-American, but the Dem strategists want black Americans to think that being "a woman of color" is close enough.
